Here at Dirty Dog we pride ourselves on providing a nurturing and collaborative environment for first-time and veteran filmmakers alike. We strive to bring dreams to reality. In the film industry, doing it “dirty” means doing whatever it takes to get the shot. Our goal is to do whatever we can to get projects off the ground and for storytellers to reach their full potential. ​​Dirty Dog Productions was founded in
Los Angeles, CA by Tommy Hauldren and MacCallister Byrd in 2023.

is an award-winning screenwriter. Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Hauldren moved to Los Angeles to attend Loyola Marymount University, where he majored in English and minored in Screenwriting. He wrote and produced the short film “I Want Candy” shortly after graduating. He served as Production Coordinator for the show “Motor Spins” and was an Associate Producer for the B1G Network documentary “Rivals: Ohio State vs Michigan”. As a screenwriter, Hauldren has written numerous television pilots and features. His most recent pilot, “Bullseye” won the Grand Prize for TV Pilot at the Silicon Beach Film Festival.

is an artist hailing from the midwest with a BFA degree from Illinois State University in Theater Studies and Integrated Performance. Over the past 8 years in Los Angeles he has spent time in front of and behind the camera for companies such as CBS, Paramount, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Sony, and Nickelodeon. Recently Mac was in Manhattan performing in a play titled ‘Pass Over’ by Antionette Nwandu, Netflix's 'Running Point', as well as indie movies, 'FrostBite', 'Cent', and 'Grizzly Peak'. Currently he continues his passion for the arts through his work at Dirty Dog Productions.
